Chief of Staff

(June 10, 2019 – La Fortaleza, San Juan) “Today, we learned of an agreement between the Financial Oversight and Management Board (FOMB) and the United Public Servers Union (SPU, by its Spanish acronym) with regards to the benefits of the public employees of the Government of Puerto Rico who participated in the retirement plan commonly known as Reform 2000, and the Defined Contribution Hybrid Program. As it is known, the defined contribution accounts of the participants of said retirement plans were not adequately funded during the past two decades.

(29 de enero de 2019- La Fortaleza, San Juan) El gobernador Ricardo Rosselló Nevares anunció hoy la designación del licenciado Raúl Maldonado Gautier como secretario del Departamento de Hacienda, al tiempo que ejercerá las funciones de principal oficial financiero (CFO, por sus siglas en inglés) y director de la Oficina de Gerencia y Presupuesto (OGP).

(July 31, 2018 - La Fortaleza, San Juan) Today, Governor of Puerto Rico Ricardo Rosselló appointed Raúl Maldonado as chief of staff and Ricardo Llerandi as deputy chief of staff.

Maldonado remains as the chief financial officer of the Government of Puerto Rico and Llerandi as executive director of the Puerto Rico Trade and Export Company.
